fellow baking bloggers beware...

i made these last night.

...yes, break and bake. go ahead and judge me.

allow me to round out last night's activities: our friend, Eleni, came over for dinner. Eleni is just a little Greek peach and works her tail off, as she is currently studying to become a nurse practitioner. she also lives a hop, skip and jump from our house so we had her over for a meal. I made whole wheat spaghetti, gravy*, meatballs and pork (*not be confused with brown gravy. I'm Italian, kids. We're talking red gravy here.), garlic bread and Caesar salad.

Since this week has been hectic, I didn't have much time to bake anything. (hello, i've just about had time to shower. TMI?) no meal is complete without dessert in our casa, so I baked up these delicious break and bakes and made a plate of blackberries, watermelon and strawberries. After a heavy carb-loaded meal, it was the perfect dessert option.

These cookies are so delicious and have all natural, simple ingredients. they also lack high fructose corn syrup, which is a plus for my fructose allergy.

eleni, next time i promise you'll get a better dessert!
