after several long months of seriously avoiding treats (ok this is a lie, I definitely had a few here and there. But this was a serious cut down from my every day habit), all I wanted was dessert on our honeymoon. I didn’t care how it was served; on a plate, in a glass (think pina colada), in a bowl, whatev. I wanted treats and no one could stop me.
Antigua boasts native Caribbean flavors, which I both enjoy and appreciate, especially when it came to dessert. And lots of crème brulee. It was featured on almost every menu we came across. But here we go…a sampling of the yummy desserts we enjoyed on our delicious honeymoon!
*note* my new husband commented that most of the desserts were basically gone by the time i captured a photo.. but you'll get the general idea. and considering how delicious they were, could you really blame me for digging in? i didn't think so...
