Not to state the obvious here...but i LOVE cupcakes. They are by far my favorite dessert to both make and enjoy. I am constantly trying new recipes ideas and testing them on my friends and co-workers, as well as making them for family events. here is a picture of my niece, Olivia, enjoying a funfetti cupcake with strawberry frosting I made for her 2nd birthday:

A common misconception about cupcakes is that they are childish (Olivia, for example). WRONG!  Cupcakes are fun, extremely versatile and can be dressed to fit any sort of occasion. When I was working as a food editorial assistant for a women’s magazine, I received a sample package of amazing cupcake wrappers from an up and coming website called Paper Orchid Stationery. The department began regularly using these wrappers in their photography spreads and still frequent features them today.
